To make sure you’re the best you can be throughout the recruitment process, let us know if you need any extra adjustments to help you thrive.

The role

The Workday HCM Transformation Manager will play a key role in driving the transformation of People Operations at Dojo. This individual will lead on a 12 month programme to review and reimagine our systems and processes, enhancing operational efficiency, scalability and effectiveness.

What you will do…

People Processes Re-engineering & Optimisation:

  • Create an overarching strategy for Workday transformation from an HR perspective, with scenarios ranging from low-budget incremental improvement to high-budget total transformation, including risk/cost-benefit analysis to ease decision making around project prioritisation

  • Lead the design of scalable People processes, focusing on automation to reduce manual work and streamline operations in a fast-growing environment.

HR Technology Stack Management & Review:

  • Review our current People systems (including Workday, Jira, Thrive, Culture Amp, CapDesk, Ravio, Greenhouse, Benefex, Navan travel module) to identify short, medium and long term options for optimisation.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for any technical issues or troubleshooting related to People systems, working with the relevant stakeholders to track issues and resolve challenges efficiently.

Data Management:

  • Oversee data governance within People systems, ensuring that accurate and reliable employee data is captured and maintained.
  • Run ad hoc People data reports & analysis as required; establish regular reporting cadences and automations where feasible

Change Management:

  • Deliver project reporting for the People Operations transformation programme  covering overall status, risks, issues and mitigation
  • Drive change management efforts to ensure a smooth transition to new systems, tools and processes.

What you will bring….

  • Programme Management & Operational Excellence: Proven ability to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and lead projects large & small, ensuring alignment with business priorities and operational goals.
  • General HR Expertise: Experience driving change programmes specifically within HR teams, with a broad understanding of typical People processes both in the Uk and, ideally, internationally
  • HR Technology Expertise: Deep understanding of Workday HRIS and other People-related technologies, including implementation and management to drive efficiency and scalability; comfortable liaising with technical experts both internally and externally
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data and performance metrics to derive insights and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. Understanding that it takes ‘good data in’ to get ‘good data out’, and confident in knowing how to structure things to make this happen.
  • Collaborative Influence: Strong ability to work cross-functionally with senior leadership, Workplace Technology, Legal, Finance, and other teams both internally & externally, influencing decisions and ensuring smooth integration of People processes across the organisation.
  • Adaptability and Resilience: A solutions-driven mindset with the ability to navigate and lead through a rapidly changing environment while consistently improving workforce productivity.

Dojo from the get-go

First launch was back in 2009. So with over 15 years in the payments industry, we’ve got a story to tell.

Dojo is built to soothe customer and consumer pain points across the world for over 140,000 customers.

And today, there’s over 1000 of us in multiple locations across the UK, Ireland, Spain, and Italy.

Our mission is to empower businesses to thrive in the experience economy by creating the tools and tech that turn transactions into meaningful relationships.

We do that through sophisticated EPOS payments integrations, fast transactions, hospitality bookings, and a strong consumer restaurant app.

Question: what’s curious, relentless, and customer obsessed?

If you’re keen to know the answer, you’re a third of the way to meeting our Dojo values.

If the following speak to you, let’s talk:

  • You’re curious. You have a real desire to learn and create.
  • You’re relentless. You keep going even when it’s easier not to.
  • You’re customer-obsessed. You know how important customers are to what you do.

Dojo home and away

We believe our best work happens when we collaborate in-person. These “together days” foster communication, drive innovation and spark our brightest ideas.

That's why we have an office-first culture. This means working from the office 4+ days per week.

With offices across Europe, we know a thing or two about staying dynamic. Need deep focus? Head to a quiet zone. Big ideas? Collaboration spaces have you covered. Just here for a catch-up? Our social hubs make it easy. Do work that counts, in spaces made for you.
