Dojo from the get-go

First launch was back in 2009. So with over 15 years in the payments industry, we’ve got a story to tell.

Dojo is built to soothe customer and consumer pain points across the world for over 140,000 customers.

And today, there’s over 1000 of us in multiple locations across the UK, Ireland, Spain, and Italy.

Our mission is to empower businesses to thrive in the experience economy by creating the tools and tech that turn transactions into meaningful relationships.

We do that through sophisticated EPOS payments integrations, fast transactions, hospitality bookings, and a strong consumer restaurant app.

The Role

We have an opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded Partnership Manager to join our Partnerships team within our Revenue Growth organisation. Dojo offers integrated card processing solutions to SME & Enterprise through referral partnerships with business software providers. Our partner ecosystem includes a diverse range of ISVs and resellers from hospitality and retail EPOS to healthcare practice management software and beyond. You will be integral to the fastest growing part of our business in a key role focused on developing and growing revenue-generating partnerships across an assigned portfolio of partners.

What you will do…

  • Create rapport with key decision makers and influencers across all levels of your assigned partners, including executives, sales, operations, and support staff.
  • Manage and Influence partners to adopt best practice to maximise customer adoption of Dojo’s products and services.
  • Complete regular business reviews with partners to set goals, identify actions and track progress towards mutually agreed objectives.
  • Design and execute Joint Business Plans for key partners in your portfolio.
  • Forecast and report on partner performance (including applications and campaign results) on a monthly basis.
  • Train partner sales staff to develop an effective approach to lead generation, using feedback from the sales team to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Innovate to maximise partner lead volume, conversion, and revenue generation.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Dojo products and services as they evolve, while ensuring partners also stay up-to-date.
  • Contribute creative and innovative ideas for driving partnership growth and business improvement
  • Ensure partners understand processes and systems
  • Act as the interface between partners and Dojo’s sales teams
  • Problem solve on the fly, manage expectations and always put the business first

What you will bring...

  • Previous strategic account partner management experience (preferably within the fintech/payments industry)
  • Proven experience working with different partner types like ISVs, resellers, distributors, etc. and exceeding sales targets.
  • Demonstrated success in selling through an indirect sales model, with a proven track record of delivering results
  • Experience managing and optimising partner programmes to drive growth and collaboration
  • Experience working with ISVs (Independent Software Vendors) in payment integrations and building strong, long-term relationships
  • Ability and desire to learn new things and adapt to changing environments
  • Proactive, growth-focused mindset
  • Ability to influence behavioural change in others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt your approach to various audiences, from c-level executives to support staff
  • Thrive as part of a target-driven, high-performance, high-expectations team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proven ability of critical thinking, using logic, data and reason
  • Self-motivation and ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team

Dojo home and away

We believe our best work happens when we collaborate in-person. These “together days” foster communication, drive innovation and spark our brightest ideas.

That's why we have an office-first culture. This means working from the office 4+ days per week.

With offices across Europe, we know a thing or two about staying dynamic. Need deep focus? Head to a quiet zone. Big ideas? Collaboration spaces have you covered. Just here for a catch-up? Our social hubs make it easy. Do work that counts, in spaces made for you.

Question: what’s curious, relentless, and customer obsessed?

If you’re keen to know the answer, you’re a third of the way to meeting our Dojo values.

If the following speak to you, let’s talk:

  • You’re curious. You have a real desire to learn and create.
  • You’re relentless. You keep going even when it’s easier not to.
  • You’re customer-obsessed. You know how important customers are to what you do.
