Dojo from the get-go

First launch was back in 2009. So with over 15 years in the payments industry, we’ve got a story to tell.

Dojo is built to soothe customer and consumer pain points across the world for over 140,000 customers.

And today, there’s over 1000 of us in multiple locations across the UK, Ireland, Spain, and Italy.

Our mission is to empower businesses to thrive in the experience economy by creating the tools and tech that turn transactions into meaningful relationships.

We do that through sophisticated EPOS payments integrations, fast transactions, hospitality bookings, and a strong consumer restaurant app.

Staff Product Manager - Strategic Product Initiatives

The Role

This is your opportunity to shape Dojo's strategic evolution as one of Europe's fasted growing FinTechs on a mission to empower the experience economy.

As a Staff Product Manager focused on Strategic Product Initiatives, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and advancing our most promising commercial pathways. You'll employ a structured approach that balances thorough assessment with focused delivery, enabling Dojo to make confident investment decisions across our key strategic opportunity spaces.

Working collaboratively with the Head of Product Management and our executive team, you will initially focus on one of these strategic domains before potentially transitioning to explore additional opportunities as our vision evolves. This adaptive approach ensures we maintain laser-focused execution while comprehensively evaluating our broader strategic landscape to build meaningful competitive advantage in the experience economy.

What you'll do…

  • Drive strategic opportunity assessment: Lead comprehensive market analysis, customer research and commercial evaluations that guide investment decisions across our evolution pathways.
  • Translate insights to execution: Transform validated opportunities into structured delivery plans with clear success metrics and implementation approaches that deliver tangible business value.
  • Lead focused innovation streams: Spearhead innovation in priority strategic domains, evaluating commercial opportunities and driving execution based on collaborative strategic direction.
  • Enable confident decision-making: Develop compelling business cases backed by evidence that support executive decisions on strategic direction and resource allocation.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration: Work effectively with Engineering, Product Design, Commercial and Operations teams to ensure cohesive delivery of strategic initiatives.
  • Support portfolio optimisation: Help leadership determine where to focus resources for maximum competitive advantage and market differentiation in a rapidly evolving FinTech landscape.

What success looks like…

  • Development of robust frameworks for evaluating strategic opportunities across multiple domains
  • Creation of evidence-based business cases that enable confident leadership decision-making
  • Delivery of well-validated product initiatives that demonstrate tangible commercial value
  • Establishment of clear transition frameworks as focus shifts between strategic opportunity spaces
  • Contribution to a focused product strategy that prevents dilution of resources across too many initiatives

What you'll bring…

  • Strategic product leadership: Proven experience as a Senior or Staff Product Manager with demonstrated ability to balance strategic exploration with focused execution.
  • Commercial acumen: Strong analytical mindset with experience translating market insights into viable product strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Stakeholder orchestration: Exceptional ability to align diverse teams and influence decision-making across organisational boundaries without direct authority.
  • Execution excellence: Track record of delivering complex product initiatives with measurable outcomes in fast-paced environments.
  • Adaptive strategic thinking: Comfort shifting between different commercial domains while maintaining focus, continuity and strategic alignment.

Dojo home and away

We believe our best work happens when we collaborate in-person. These “together days” foster communication, drive innovation and spark our brightest ideas.

That's why we have an office-first culture. This means working from the office 4+ days per week.

With offices across Europe, we know a thing or two about staying dynamic. Need deep focus? Head to a quiet zone. Big ideas? Collaboration spaces have you covered. Just here for a catch-up? Our social hubs make it easy. Do work that counts, in spaces made for you.

Question: what’s curious, relentless, and customer obsessed?

If you’re keen to know the answer, you’re a third of the way to meeting our Dojo values.

If the following speak to you, let’s talk:

  • You’re curious. You have a real desire to learn and create.
  • You’re relentless. You keep going even when it’s easier not to.
  • You’re customer-obsessed. You know how important customers are to what you do.
