We’re reinventing payments.
In less than four years, Dojo disrupted the market to become the largest and most loved acquirer in the UK. Our payments infrastructure, purpose-built for in-person commerce, is game changing.
Now, over 150,000 customers across four countries choose to transact billions with us every year.
But we’re just getting started.
Our people are the driving force behind our success. They are our greatest investment and our ultimate competitive advantage. We hire exceptional people and give them the autonomy, trust, and ownership to thrive. The results take care of themselves.
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to architect the future of our Customer Onboarding Orchestration domain.
Currently, these systems sit in the critical path of our customer onboarding journey. We have big ambitions for a much more streamlined customer onboarding journey. We are transforming this domain into a modular and abstract layer that sits at the heart of our business, serving the ever-evolving needs of the business.
We need someone who can go beyond simple code maintenance. You'll be architecting and developing the resilient, observable systems that can evolve with our business as we scale globally. If you are passionate about high-integrity engineering and want to see your work directly impact the company's bottom line, let’s talk.
Work as part of a cross-functional product squad to deliver exciting features for our customers
Ensure our platform's high reliability by contributing to improvements across the stack underpinning our microservices
Writing well-documented APIs for cross-functional teams to consume
Contribute to the more in-depth architectural decisions
Ensure a high rate of delivery in an agile environment, whilst maintaining a high level of quality
Support developers of all experience levels and foster a collaborative and open culture
In-depth knowledge of .NET and willingness to coach others
Experience working in a cloud environment, preferably GCP
Experience working with Microservices architectures and event-driven systems
Knowledge of relational and non-relational database technologies
Experience in designing, developing and maintaining large-scale production applications
Product-centric thinking and an appetite to work in a customer-centric environment
Dojo home and away
We believe our best work happens when we collaborate in-person. These “together days” foster communication, drive innovation and spark our brightest ideas.
That's why we have an office-first culture. This means working from the office 4+ days per week.
With offices across Europe, we know a thing or two about staying dynamic. Need deep focus? Head to a quiet zone. Big ideas? Collaboration spaces have you covered. Just here for a catch-up? Our social hubs make it easy. Do work that counts, in spaces made for you.
Question: what’s curious, relentless, and customer obsessed?
If you’re keen to know the answer, you’re a third of the way to meeting our Dojo values.
If the following speak to you, let’s talk:
